Tell us about yourself and why you enjoy serving on the HWOI Leadership Committee.
I’m a Notre Dame graduate, Mendoza College of Business, Finance. Notre Dame holds a special place in my life and I’m thankful for the gifts the university has given me. It is greater than just my education, alumni connections, and professional achievements. It is home to our family; our parents’ priority to provide a faith-based education at a premier university, where my brother and I met our spouses, and where our children would become alumni.
A strong sense of community, a passion to give back to Notre Dame, and to pay forward the opportunities afforded to me led me to Hesburgh Women of Impact. I am forever grateful to Father Ted for opening the university’s doors to women graduates. As a member of the initial HWOI Leadership Committee in 2015 and continuing to serve on the HWOI Leadership Committee, I am passionately committed to further the mission of a philanthropic group of women leaders who develop current and future women leaders within the Notre Dame community and beyond.
What is one thing you would want to tell your younger self? If you could offer a piece of advice to women today in the form of a quote, what quote would you share?
“Take full advantage of the programs and services Notre Dame and the Alumni Association offer to the undergraduate and graduate students.”
Why is supporting Notre Dame important to you?
A strong sense of community, a passion to give back to Notre Dame, and to pay forward the opportunities afforded to me drive my support of the university. I believe in the university’s mission, and I want to actively participate in making these opportunities available to others.
