Tell us about yourself and why you enjoy serving on the HWOI Leadership Committee.

While I did not attend Notre Dame, I have 4 children and many family members who did. I’ve been so impressed by how the university guides young students – and especially women – towards becoming principled, steadfast, and driven individuals and leaders. HWOI’s mission to celebrate the female leaders of ND, to encourage and support future female leaders at ND continues the work that Fr Hesburgh began in 1972.

What is one thing you would want to tell your younger self? If you could offer a piece of advice to women today in the form of a quote, what quote would you share?

Trust the path God has set for you, even when the way forward seems unclear. With faith, courage and hard work, not only will your dreams become reality, but new dreams you would have never thought possible will be unveiled to you.

Why is supporting Notre Dame important to you?

Notre Dame has giving so much to my family, educating my children, guiding them through their college years and continuing to support them as part of the Notre Dame Family. I deeply appreciate all that the university has done for us and wish to reciprocate through my time and financial commitments for future generations.
